 The Educational processes for achieving the goals of instruction or teaching are directly related to the objectives of instruction. These objectives are what for instance the teacher seeks to achieve in the lesson design  and delivery.    It is necessary all the time set out the objectives of each unit of teaching in clear measurable statements. These statements will specify the various ways in which the exposure of pupils to specified learning experiences will change  or influence the pupils particular ways of thinking, feeling or acting.
   Clearly formulated objectives of instruction are most helpful in meeting the objectives of evaluation because they set out in clear measurable terms the scope of an intended outcome. this also help teachers to decide on and set out sequence of teaching as well as collect teaching materials and resources necessary to facilitate learning.
   Evaluation assists teachers to select, order and present the content in an affective manner to prepare valid and reliable tests. This make it easier for pupils to order their work and evaluate their own progress.    Once the above facts exits, then it becomes easier to achieve the objectives of evaluation. These are to ensure that educational objectives are attainable. Instructional resources [examples teaching aids and tools, techniques and methods] are effectively and efficiently utilized to achieve set objectively.    In the CRITERIA FOR EVALUATION of educational programmes, we must understand the concept of evaluation fully.    In the classroom situation, we talk of evaluation assessment of measurement as if they mean exactly the same thing. A clear understanding of these terms will enable us see the need for a set of criteria for evaluation.    Measurement seeks to rate the degree of intended outcome achieved by the learners.The result of measurement often appear as scores and enable teachers classify puplis or learners according to performance.    Evaluation involves determining what actual outcomes are , comparing actual and expected outcomes, making valid judgment about the usefulness of any demonstrated changes and indicating paths for improvement of the learning programme.    In order to complete and thorough evaluation some criteria like continuity in evaluation, consistency in evaluation, and comprehensiveness in evaluation need to be apply.
